Our Patron
Born into a prominent Italian family in 1901, Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati was a young man of extraordinary zeal. He was an avid mountaineer, a passionate outdoorsman, and a lover of adventure, often leading his friends on challenging climbs into the Alps – always with a rosary in his pocket. His famous motto, "Verso L'Alto!" (To the Heights!), perfectly encapsulates his dual passion: striving for both literal mountain summits and the spiritual peaks of sanctity.
But Frassati's rugged exterior held a deep and tender heart for Christ and for the poor. He tirelessly served those in need in the slums of Turin, often giving away his own shoes and coat. He brought joy, faith, and a vibrant example of Catholic masculinity to everyone he met.
Frassati embodies the very essence of Ridgeline Rosary Co. His love for the mountains and his appreciation for the strenuous ascent resonate deeply with the experiences of navigating challenging terrain. His commitment to well-crafted adventure, paired with his unwavering faith, directly inspires the durability and intentional design of our rosaries. He proved that a life of deep prayer and devotion isn't just mundane; it's wild and adventurous in the face of the everyday challenges we encounter.
We strive to build rosaries that reflect Pier Giorgio's spirit – robust and ready for life's journey, inspiring you to always go "To the Heights" in your own faith.
